A grant award in the amount of $25,000 from the Dubuque Racing Association, Q Casino, and the Diamond Jo Casino will support our Transportation Improvement Project. The purchase of a new 13 passenger paratransit vehicle replaces the current 11 year old paratransit primarily used for the Residential Center and owned by Hills & Dales, which was funded through a 2005 DRA grant award.
Having safe, wheelchair accessible and appropriate transportation for the people with disabilities who are supported by Hills & Dales is imperative to our mission of building meaningful lives.
Hills & Dales is appreciative of the ongoing support the DRA has provided to assist in the mission to build meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities by offering services that support the whole person and enhance community inclusion.
