Community Programs

Support individuals with disabilities within their home and community by providing personal support and active engagement of clients to maintain a therapeutic, growth producing relationship.

Personal Assistant, Full-time (72-80 hours per pay period)

First shift -Hours range from 6:00am – 3:30pm and may include hours at the Hills & Dales Day Habilitation Program.  Every other weekend rotations are included in every schedule and include an additional weekend pay differential of $1/hour.

Second shift -Hours vary from 3:30pm-4:00pm to 9:00pm–11:00pm.  Every other weekend rotations are included in every schedule and include an additional weekend pay differential of $1/hour.

Third shift -Hours vary from 10:00pm–11:00pm to 7:00am–9:00am.  Third shift hours consist of sleep, (yes, get paid to sleep!) time/pay.  Every other weekend rotations are included in every schedule and include an additional weekend pay differential of $1/hour.

Lead Personal Assistant, Full-time 

The Lead Personal Assistant provides leadership and support to co-staff, Program Coordinator, and clients in helping to build meaningful lives for the adults served by promoting independence and community inclusion. This is accomplished through person centered planning, individual programs, and self-assuring experiences in a manner that is consistent with the policies and procedures of Hills and Dales.  In addition, Lead responsibilities include: QA documentation, staff QA and training, managing client funds, co-organization of monthly staff meetings with the Program Coordinator, participation in staff discipline with Program Coordinator as directed, and other directives as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Eighteen years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance
  • One year of direct support experience in a formal support provision setting and/or CNA preferred and at least three months experience with HCBS Waiver Services for Supported Community Living.

Personal Assistant, Part-time

Part-time positions are available on various shifts and range from 12-36 hours per pay period. Every other weekend rotations are included in every schedule and include an additional weekend pay differential of $1/hour.

In-Home Services

Lead Personal Assistant, Full-time

Schedule includes various days which include weekends.

Personal Assistant, Part-time

Flexible scheduling with hours ranging from 3 – 7 hours per pay period.

Personal Assistant III


Personal Assistant III’s positions specializes in behavioral supports to support young, adult males within a community setting.

Positions are available on various shifts, ranging from 16-37 hours per pay period.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required. AA or BA in a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, in accordance with company policy
  • Two years of direct support experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred
  • Medication Manager Certification and CPR & First Aid Certifications are preferred, however training will be provided if you are not currently certified.
