We are beginning to accept applications for the positions that will be supporting the clients in this new home.  Applicants for this site will specialize in behavioral supports to support young, adult males in a community setting.

We are currently accepting applications for Personal Assistants for FULL-TIME on 2nd and 3rd Shifts and PART-TIME on 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts.  Some flexible scheduling may be required to meet training, meetings and working with clients in the months prior to the home opening.

Shifts of first, second & third will be available and they will include alternating weekends. When applying please indicate which shift is your preference.  Full  time positions may be scheduled between 72 – 80 hours with alternating weekends.

IDEAL CANDIDATE should be career-oriented and a team player.  They should also have the following educational and work experiences, the certifications may be completed within the next few months if the applicant does not currently have them:

  • Preferred A.A. or B.A. in Human or Social Services, Health Care or related field
  • 1-2 years experience direct care working in a behavioral health setting
  • Medication Manager Certified*
  • MANDT Certified*
  • CPR & 1st Aide Certified*

*On-site training available.

Positions will support individual clients in their home. Applicants must qualify as an approved driver; use of personal vehicle with minimum insurance requirements of $100,000.00 liability.

FULL-TIME, HCBS SUPERVISOR:

Full-Time, Salaried Position, Independent Living:

Schedule: Includes Rotating On-Call Schedule including weekends, also some evenings and weekend hours may be required.

The Home and Community-Based Services Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and day-to-day operations of the community-based services program.  This position is responsible for providing continuing services to clients as they age.  This job will direct the work and provide supervision and leadership of assigned personal assistants through mentoring and development of a cohesive team.  This position is responsible to the department director in developing and providing strategic business direction of the community-based services program, and thus, requires a high level of organization, decisiveness and the ability to multi-task.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field is preferred, however an Associate of Arts degree with one-year experience in a direct care setting will be considered, or a minimum of two years experience in a direct care facility
  • A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience required
  • Free from convictions or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse
  • Ability and desire to work with children and/or adults with mental and physical disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license* and ability to drive agency vehicle

Shift Leader- Residential Center – 2nd Shift

Full-Time, Salaried Position.

Schedule includes rotating weekends.

The Shift Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned shift and ensuring proper integration and monitoring of the resident’s active treatment program as developed by the interdisciplinary team.  This job will also direct the work and provide supervision, leadership and training of Personal Assistants.

A Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field is preferred, an Associate of Arts degree with one-year experience in a direct care setting will be considered, or a minimum of one-year supervisory experience demonstrated leadership ability with a minimum of two years experience in a direct care facility.

Ability and desire to work with children and/or young adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Valid driver’s license and ability to drive agency vehicle, must either have CDL or be able to obtain CDL License.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                Personal Assistant – Independent Living

This position involves working directly with Hills & Dales clients in the community teaching the skills of daily living. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred, but not required. This position requires a High-School Diploma.

All applicants must possess a good driving record, a working vehicle and auto insurance.

Positions Available:

Full Time Floater for Independent Living/In-Home – Various Hours over 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift any day of the week

  • Shift Premium offered due to open availability required.

Part Time Apartments

  • Every other weekend positions:  2pm-10pm; 2pm-9pm; 6am-2pm; 11am – 7pm
  • First shift position: 6:00am -9:30am during the week and 9:00am – 9:00pm every other weekend.
  • Combined 1st & 2nd Shift Position:    Thursday & Friday, 3:30 to 8:30/9:00 pm; Every other week work Tues. & Wed., 7:30 – 3:30 pm and Sat. & Sun, 2:00 – 9:00 pm
  • Second Shift Position:  4:30pm – 10:00pm during the week and 2p-10pm every other weekend.
  • Second Shift Position:  3:30 – 9:00 pm, Thurs & Fri and 2-10 pm every other weekend.

Full Time Apartments

  • 2nd & 3rd Shift combination – 3:30pm – 11pm; 11pm – 7:30am – with every other weekend 2:00pm-10pm
  • 1st & 2nd Shift Combination: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 3:30 pm; Every other week requires Saturday & Sunday from 2:00 – 10:00 pm, but receive Tuesday & Wednesday off .

Personal Assistant – Residential Center

This position involves working directly with Hills & Dales residents teaching the skills of daily living and assisting with participation in activities. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred, but not required. This position requires a High-School Diploma. There are Part-time positions available.

Positions Available:

Part Time – 1st shift available

  • Sunday 6:00am- 1:30pm and Monday 5:30am-1:30pm
  • Monday and Friday 5am-1:30pm and every other weekend Saturday and Sunday 6am-1:30pm
  • Friday 5am-1:30pm and Saturday 6am-1:30pm
  • Friday 6am-1:30pm and Saturday 6am-1:30pm
  • Sunday 5am-1:30pm and Monday 6am-2:30pm

Health Services

Part Time Certified Medication Assistant – 2 Week Rotation per month, 3 days – 2nd Shift

Childcare Center

Part Time Childcare Assistants – No weekends, Monday – Friday

Childcare Assistant – 12:00 noon - 7:00pm

For the following positions – must be at least 18 years of age to work any age classroom:

Childcare Assistant – 2:30/3:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Childcare Assistant School Age Room – 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Current opening is in School Age classroom and requires previous experience in Behavior Modification, Special Education Background – with behaviors, and the ability to create a structured environment.

 

All positions at Hills & Dales require the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
